[ Chicken was not going to help the cleric, after all.

...something felt a little off, but there's not enough to actually worry about it. Instead he smiles at his boyfriend and slides over to the chicken bucket to steal himself a piece. ]

Don't be too long or I'll eat your share, too!

[ He slings on his coat and heads out for a walk back into the city. For someone in search of the weird vegan food readily available all around, he takes longer than he needs to.

Mostly he get distracted by the cute bakery's window display. ]

[ Molly does steal one piece of chicken before he lounges in the kitchen, relaxing more as the weird little pill takes away the last remaining ache, leaving the arm just feeling a little overworked. He's expecting Fjord to come right back, but when it takes a while he gets a little concerned.

What was that vibe from earlier? Something was off, and it had something to do with his tattoos. Maybe it was too much to make him the centerpiece connecting everything else, but he had sounded honest about liking that.

Eugh. Emotions are such a mess.

Eventually he just sends a little message to Fjord. ]

[ He gets the message while in the queue with Caduceus's salad, squinting at the word, "ber"? Beer seems right. ]

[ Smiling at the apology for the typo, he makes a concentrated effort to be a better boyfriend and returns home with a box of beers and some salty peanut snacks, just for Molly's dessert. He resolves to stop overthinking the past and live in the present, calling out when he returns for a second time. ]

I'm home! Extra special delivery for Tealeaf!

[ Molly's still in the kitchen when Fjord comes back, although less because of any cooking or eating and more because he found a notepad to sketch a card idea on. He perks up at the sound of Fjord returning and sashays out to actually help him this time.

Love.

He takes the beer box from the half-orc with a smooch and then the salad, carrying both to put in the cold cupboard. ]

Thank you~! I saw we only had one can left.

We can't have that, there'll be a riot on our hands! [ He feels better put-together after his walk, whistling as Molly finishes putting away the beer. ] Hey, got you a snack.

[ He drops the packet next to the card on the table, taking a look at it. ]

What's this?

[ Molly grabs the package easily and his tail swishes happily when he sees what it is. ]

We're saviors of the house peace, obviously.

[ Smiling, he turns the card around to show Fjord a sketch of the same swirling water as his tattoo, filling from one side and emptying the other like an hourglass. ]

Just another idea. I haven't worked on my cards in a while.

That's ... a nice design. I like it.

[ He likes a lot of things lately! Likes them lots. Puffing his bangs out of his eyes as he turns back to Molly, he loops his arms around a slender waist ("Come here!") and tugs him in for a kiss more involved than what Fjord would usually start in the communal living areas. Just him and Molly! That's all he wants to focus on. ]

[ Molly's surprised by the tug, but he's more than happy to wrap his arms around Fjord and kiss him back. He smiles into the kiss, adoring the way his lover seems more okay with displays of affection that might be public. He places another kiss to the underside of Fjord's jaw just to be a tease, purring with content.

It all makes him slightly forget the weird vibes earlier, focusing on his boyfriend as well.

Still, it nags him a little bit. ]

Should we eat out fill now and leave the rest of the others or do you want to wait and cuddle on the couch instead?

[ The kiss under his jaw makes him hum, poking a horn with his nose. ]

Both? Let's grab a plate and settle down.

[ Patting that tail!! ]

Fill me in on all the gossip I've missed.

[ Molly grins and is surprisingly helpful at getting them a plate each, so they can sit down and chill together.

He sighs happily as they settle, and then noms on a piece of chicken while talking about all the new things on the network that he'd been listening to. Nothing major, just a few tidbits here and there. ]

Oh, and I like this new Caduceus fellow. Very calm and collected in all of this.

[ His arm slides around Molly's shoulders as they eat and he hums and ooos to each factoid as they're rattled off. ]

I think Cad likes you too, he's been hearing about you for ages. It's good you guys get to shake down together in the house, considering we're not adventuring around much. Time to talk.

Mm. I'm glad he's not... angry with me. Lucien. Me looking like Lucien.

[ He chuckles softly and takes a swig of the beer. ]

We've had more time to talk and chill here than any time before. It's a little strange, sometimes. I'm used to always be moving.

[ Bringing Molly in for a kiss to the base of a horn, he huffs. ]

He would never hold that against you, nor would any of the rest of us. That guy ... he's not you, Molly, we've spoken to him. He's a dick.

[ He swipes Molly's wrist, taking a bite from the chicken he's holding. ]

[ Molly squeaks in protest at the chicken stealing, wiggling it indignantly. It draws a little chuckle from him, that helps to take the edge off the things we're talking about. Stupid, wonderful man.

Even so, he feels glad that Beau was from an earlier time and didn't meet this impostor with his face. Or his true self? Molly still isn't sure what to call it. ]

He's the person that taught you all about the Wildmother, right?

He took me under his wing, sort of. Yes.

[ He tweaks on a hair curl, eyeing Molly. ]

Do you have any questions about all that? Wildmother stuff?

[ Molly chuckles at that, shaking his head a little. ]

I don't really understand much about gods. I know the Moonweaver because Desmond told me about her, and I found her to be my style. Made a few prayers, decided to follow her creed. Then it just became part of who I am but not religiously, if that makes sense? I just like her style.

[ He sips his beer again. ]

Now the Traveler is real and you two have a sugar mama. It's a lot of divinity.

[ He tilts his head. ]

How do you feel about bringing Aphrodite into our circle, technically another god?

Are you going to be upset if I say I'm praying at her altar any time I can?

[ He winks and then takes one of Fjord's hand to kiss it. ]

It's strange. I know she's a goddess but she also seems so normal. Not at all what I expected a divine entity to be. But for her to be part of our circle? I welcome it.

[ Molly turns his head a bit to look at Fjord, though. ]

...what does the Wildmom think of that?

[ Knowing exactly what Molly means, Fjord laughs quietly and nods. As for the notion of Melora giving her two coppers ... ]

Ahh ... You know, I'm a little scared to find out.

Well, love's quite natural, isn't it? I doubt she'd be mad unless you take another oath or something.

[ He gives the half-orc a smooch on the cheek. ]

Then again, I don't know how pissy and jealous gods get.

[ He wiggles away from the pinch with a squeak, almost dropping both beer and chicken. ]

[ Laughing, Molly swats his boyfriend on the leg with his tail, rolling those red eyes. ]

I don't really get jealous, love. [ Pissy, definitely. ] Well, maaaybe when you don't pay attention to me.
