[ He wiggles away from the pinch with a squeak, almost dropping both beer and chicken. ]

[ Laughing, Molly swats his boyfriend on the leg with his tail, rolling those red eyes. ]

I don't really get jealous, love. [ Pissy, definitely. ] Well, maaaybe when you don't pay attention to me.

[ He's going to liberate that chicken from Molly again, because it tastes better when it's not Fjord's. ]

[ Molly can't even be serious for one second with that one, immediately breaking into a laugh while swatting more at the chicken stealing. ]

[ That tail is caught and wiggles in Fjord's hand as Molly makes himself more comfortable against his sweet boyfriend. ]

[ He raises his newly tattooed arm with a smile. ]

[ Giving a pat to that newly tattooed upper arm where his is draped around him, glancing back at the tail caught in his other hand. He brings it to his lips for a kiss. ]

Don't get this tattooed, okay? I like it being all you.

[ Molly purrs happily as those lips meet the soft skin of his tail, the tip teasing at Fjord's neck as he does. ]

Mm... I wouldn't. That sounds terribly painful.

[ He looks at the tattoo again with a thoughtful smile. ] ...but this is all me, too.

I know. [ !! Super casual. ] It's just nice to see, you know ... you.

[ Wow, that went nowhere and a little bit because the spade tickling his neck is distracting. He lowers that to his lap, absently tracing the bladed tip with a thumb. ]

You know what I mean.

[ Molly says with a little chuckle, and sighs happily when he feels the thumb against the tip. ]

My tattoos are more me than the skin is, though. They made me me. Not him.

[ He knocks back the last of his beer from the can with a content sigh. ]

...I wonder if the Augur could remove the eyes?

[ He needs to stop repeating that. Moving swiftly on, ]

... Would you still have your Blood Hunter abilities if you lost the eyes? Or would that even matter?

I honestly don't know how they work. Is that what it's called? [ He makes a slight face. ] Blood Hunter. Edgy.

[ He rubs a finger over the eye on his neck. ]

You know better than I if they're connected to that or not. They're just... weird.

Nonagon is his title, he murdered Vess de Rogna to take it back. The eyes are definitely linked to what he can do.

[ He hasn't seen him fight yet, only knowing Lucien can take down a mage of the Cerberus Assembly with ease. ]

Even if you did lose all the shit that went along with them, would you mind?

[ There's a quick shake of his head from Molly at that. Fucking eyes, fucking Lucien and fuck this mage lady. ]

No, I'd just find another way to fight. I'd still be able to use my swords. In the beginning when I was learning I only used them like any person... until I cut myself and made ice line the blade.

[ He looks at his hands, turning them over to see the little callouses from holding his weapons. ]

If they were gone... I'd manage. I just want to be able to protect my people.

Then I don't think you've got anything to lose by asking the Augur to remove the red eyes. Not these two though, [ tapping under Molly's actual eyes, ] I might miss them.

I'd miss them, too. How else would I look at you?

[ Molly leans his head back to do just that, smiling up at Fjord happily. This was so stupidly domestic and somehow he's weirdly happy about that, too. It wasn't anything he thought he'd enjoy, expecting to get bored and antsy... but he's comfortable.

Reaching up with his newly-tattooed hand, he plays a little with those loose hairs at Fjord's brow. ]

I'm loving all this flattery, I won't lie.

[ He rests his head on Molly's shoulder, slumped against him on the couch. The brushing of fingers through his hair has his lashes fluttering, smirking a little as he uses his old accent to add, ]

Real sweet of ya, darlin'.

[devilstongue]

[ Ooh, there's that accent. Molly loves both of them, but hearing the old one makes him think of the past, awkward Fjord. It's adorable and a little hot at once, and it makes him laugh softly. ]

I can be just as sweet as I'm pretty, just for you.

[ He doesn't have a second accent to switch into that doesn't just mean leaning more into Gustav's (and thus, Lucien's), so instead he adds the breathless, soft hiss of infernal just to be silly. ]

...and it's all true.

[ His brows shoot up and he barely holds in a snicker. ]

Uh oh, someone's gettin' all spicy on me ... !

[ Absolutely still playing with that dumbfuck accent if it makes Molly laugh, he makes a grab for his waist to pull him forward, bucket of chicken be damned. ]

I better subdue the threat.

[devilstongue]

[ Molly groans as he's pulled, too full of chicken and beer to even try to protest. He laughs, tail swishing with glee as his fangs bare more to look 'scarier'. He starts speaking in infernal, making sure his facial expression is properly evil as he does.

...he's just saying nonsense, though. Kind of what he did when using Vicious Mockery. ]

«Weather. Gold. Small house hunter babies.» [ ...kittens. ] «Green. Sea. Sea. Sea. Mine. I don't expect payment.»

[ Back to normal accent-wise, ] What are you saying? I trust absolutely nothing about that language.

[ Slouched with Molly draped on top, he wraps an arm around his waist and pokes him on the lips with his free hand, smearing them over those scary fangs. ]

[devilstongue]

[ Molly 'snaps' after that finger with an amused hum, making himself comfortable on his half-orc couch. ]

I said you're the most wonderful boyfriend, but if you pull on me like that again I will burp.

[halforc]

As long as there's no vomit.

[ He's careful about cuddling Molly and leaving that newly tattooed arm untouched, not wanting to squash it and make it more painful, or however it feels. Just looking at him as they settle down together makes Fjord smile, as if he has a secret, but in reality he's just content. Safe and happy for the time being with someone he can be entirely at ease with ... it makes him think more intently about their situation, trapped on the island but also brought back together by it. ]

I'm so glad I have you.

[ It comes out softer than he intends, but oh well. No hiding much at close range. ]

[ Molly teases, and then just takes a moment to enjoy the closeness. Fjord smells nice and they had a good meal, so he's utterly content and comfortable. A glance up at Fjord's face makes him smile back, curious and happy in one.

The comment makes the tiefling nod slightly, features softening as he subconsciously runs a finger along the curve of Fjord's chest. ]

...me too. I would have never thought this would happen, but... I'm happy. Stupidly happy. It's worth all the strange things of this place.

It is. It is worth coming here for you.

[ His hand slides over Molly's on his chest, glancing down to catch sight of that distracting swirl on the back. He pulls face as if his nose is itchy, then lets out a breath he hadn't realised he was holding. ]

Molls, the Augur ... they can change anything they want, can't they? Easy. They put these tattoos on you in seconds, am I right?
