[ Mostly because it was her only one! Molly had escaped all other marriage dreams. ]
...and I agree. I feel like I've changed a lot in this place. Titties aside.
[ Hopefully some of it for the better.
When Fjord dials Caleb, she smiles into the camera. ]
Hello, darling! If you're not in the arms of your wizard lover, would you like to come over and have a nice, chill night with us? We have pizza and blankets.
[ Caleb's surprise is obvious in the moment of hesitation when the video connects. The stone walls behind him indicate that he is downstairs in the wizardhaus lab. He looks a little tired too, hair hanging messy around his face, but he quickly musters a smile at the sight of his friends. He also doesn't deny having a wizard lover, which is as good a confirmation as anything. ]
I...am not busy, no. Not with anything I cannot return to later. Give me just a moment and I will join you.
[ He ends the call himself and tidies up his workbench enough to not impede Essek should he decide to use the lab tonight, leaving what he was working on for tomorrow.
A few minutes later he knocks at Fjord and Molly's door, though with their invitation already standing, he opens it himself and edges inside. ]
Is there much pizza left? It seems I have worked through dinner.
[ Molly grins as she hears the reply, and then moves to add more pillows and blankets. They have to have some for Caleb, after all!
She's just slinking back into Fjord's arms when Caleb arrives, and she immediately picks up a slice from the giant pizza Fjord had gotten and waggles it. ]
There's enough for all of us!
[ Well, who knows with their palalock, he can eat plenty. ]
[ Fjord is trying to make room for Caleb after he confirms he's on his way, which is difficult with Molly bouncing around excitedly, but there's a little dip between them on the bed when he sits up. A wizard-nook, so to speak! He nods to the question (Molly is already trying to shove pizza at Caleb, there's definitely enough food left) and pats the middle of the bed. ]
And beer, yes. Come on in, get comfortable. You look wrecked, what have you been up to?
[ Caleb joins them both on the bed, edging into the space they've made for him and happily accepting the pizza Molly enthusiastically offers him. Gods, he's hungry. ]
I have been workshopping Teleportation Circle. It is useless without an existing circle to teleport to, but as Teleport itself is currently inaccessible to both myself and Essek--
[ He sighs, shakes his head and blinks hard in an attempt to clear it of the calculations he can still see like they're burned into the back of his eyelids. ]
I don't know. It is mostly something to do to feel useful. I suspect we will need a Plane Shift spell to get us out of here, anyway, but that is not a topic I am able to tackle tonight. You said there is beer?
[ Once Caleb has the pizza, Molly settles down again, snuggling into the oversized Fjord hoodie she's wearing and drinking for her beer. The magic talk sounds impressive and all, but she doesn't understand much about it other than that it sounded hopeful with that 'Plane Shift' idea.
At the question of beer, she holds out one with a grin and curls her tail around their wizard's hips for some nice contact. ]
Relax, darling. No more magic things or writing. Just us and the food.
[ She gives Caleb a wink. ]
We were talking about ho we missed you in this bed, like before.
[ Saving his curious questions for a time when Caleb isn't about to crash, he drapes an arm around his shoulders and settles at his side with a huffed laughed as Molly gives up the ghost on why they invited him over. ]
It's good to have you back with us. We never had a chance to get a little closer, back then.
[ It's all he can do, really, to thank Molly for the beer with a soft kiss to his--to her?--temple and a fond pat to the tail wrapped around him, and drink a good portion of the bottle before he leans against Fjord, heaving a sigh that does very little to ease the tension in his shoulders.
But it does something, which is enough to convince him that this visit was a good idea, even as he processes the idea they're presenting him with. ]
That is true. Things were...uncertain for me, then. [ And Molly and Fjord's relationship was still so young. His presence here would have been a hindrance. ] But if you are asking if I would be receptive to sleeping with the two of you, then ja, of course.
[ No need to ease him into it; he's there already. ]
[ Fjord chokes a little on his own beer, setting it aside as he wipes his mouth. Hard not to laugh as well as blush through his surprise at Caleb's candour. ]
That ... was the endgame idea, yes.
[ Drink safely set aside, he solves his bashful problem by nuzzling the tense curve of a neck, lips skating the tendons in the curve as he brushes back Caleb's hair. Hiding, more than stirring up anything else. ]
[ Caleb snorts softly, regarding Molly with an amused quirk of his lips as he tilts his chin enough to allow Fjord to duck against his neck, clearly receptive to the gentle brush of fingers and lips, but not distracted by it. ]
It is a relief to hear that sleep was already factored in to this equation, as I am pretty exhausted. I couldn't give either of you the attention you deserve tonight. But in the morning, I...would not be opposed to that.
[ The fact Molly and Fjord are both dressed and enjoying a meal on the bed instead of fucking on it speaks volumes, he's sure. He sits up and starts unwinding Caleb's hair with large gentle fingers, combing it down his back and kneading his shoulders. ]
Let us take care of you, or we will anyway. That's a threat.
We appreciate all the studying you do about this place and ways to get out, but you have to relax, too! Eat at least two pizza slices and try some of this dip sauce Fjord got for the chips.
[ Molly pulls up a blanket over the wizard and leans against him, here to eat her own pizza and bask in the company of her boyfriend and dream-husband. ]
[ The mood tonight is definitely more relaxed chatter and sharing food than immediate threesome, which Caleb is grateful for. He'd be flattered by the latter, but gods, not when his shoulders feel like this. His head ducks down a little as he grins, unable to see Fjord (though certainly feeling him) behind him, but meeting Molly's eyes. ]
Ja, okay. If you both insist.
[ The pizza slices are of a sort of ridiculous size, but he's a few bites into one already, and it's easier to wash it down with beer. And only Molly's insistence, he tries the chips and dip too. His neck rolls forward and then backward occasionally, flexing the muscles, and his shoulders shift backward into his half-orc friend's hands with a soft grunt. ]
[ He glances over at Molly to give her a Look that says hop in his lap, help him relax too with a nod to where Caleb is slumped. It doesn't have to always be sexy when Molly pours herself on someone (although most of the time, well), she can be gloriously comforting too when it comes to cuddling, something Fjord knows better than anyone. ]
Lean back on me, it's alright. We've got you. Do you want to vent about anything? Four ears are all yours.
[ Molly's made a life out of reading people for her tarot, so that glance is easy to follow. She slinks over to Caleb's lap and makes herself comfortable, tail sweeping slowly over the bed before coiling again around a human leg.
Thanks to her infernal heritage and the oversized hoodie, she's quite toasty, and knows well how to snuggle without getting her horns in the way. ]
You smell like those components you use. Very herb-y.
[ Caleb leans back. He lets Fjord take his weight, the taste of beer still thick on his tongue. And before he can really process it, Molly has crawled across to take her place straddled across his lap, tail curling around his thigh.
With his body no longer running on empty, and with the reassurance of his friends--Molly's compliment(?) makes him laugh softly--it's easier to concentrate on what else might be bothering him.
He breathes. It's a deep, deep breath in and a slow exhale, a great sigh that finally dispels some of the tension Caleb holds himself with as he just burrows his face between Molly's neck and shoulder, soft fabric against his cheek and infernally heated skin against his nose. She's warm and soft, and--she, definitely; it's been difficult to avoid catching a glimpse of the new breasts she's so proud of, and now here they are pressed against him through the layer of her sweatshirt. Somehow it manages to be more comforting than erotic. He curls his arms around her waist, tugging her further into his lap so that he can absorb her warmth while leaning back against Fjord, into the wonderful strength of his arms and the satisfying bulk of his form.
Something clicks into place. Oh. He's missed this. In so many ways, he's missed this. Missed the two of them, Fjord and Molly, being here, being loved in a way that is uncomplicated compared to just about everything else. Missed this particular feeling, too; holding and being held all at once, a configuration of three that had once meant comfort and safety, that had been the blueprint for how he still views relationships and intimacy.
It's a lot to process all at once. ]
I have no idea what I am doing.
[ The words are muffled against Molly's skin, tired and exasperated. ]
With Essek, with anyone else, with anything here--verdammt. How have you managed to make this work?
[ Fjord's yawn is huge as he wraps his arms around them both, cheek resting on Caleb's hair as they all settle in. It's deeply satisfying to have Caleb within holding distance in their bed, making it difficult not to fall asleep despite his valiant attempt to stay awake and listen. ]
In a relationship? Shit, I ... I guess some ground rules work. [ His eyes close as he hums thoughtfully. ] No strangers in our bed, Molly comes home to me at night instead of staying out ... Lots of trust and mutual respect.
[ Molly happily stays there, a small, pleased purr that she usually only saves for Fjord leaving her as she enjoys the closeness of the two lovely men. She listens to Caleb's uncertain venting and strokes his hair gently, looking at her boyfriend when Fjord speaks. ]
Geez, don't ask me about how this works.
[ She says, shaking her head a bit. ]
I hardly even knew how relationships worked when this happened. I just spent a night or so with people.... had fun and then left.
[ She takes another bite of her pizza. ]
I was scared at first, because it sounded like not me, being in a relationship. Maybe being forced to change to something I wasn't. But things just... it felt right, because Fjord didn't try to change me. Aside from that fight. Just here to love me.
[ She smiles, playing a little with those auburn locks. ]
As long as someone makes you happy, then there's not much else to do. Just lay down some rules together, especially in a place like this.
[ While Caleb knows what might work for him is going to be different to what works for them, it's nice just to have some aspect of this--how they've made this work here, more than anything--explained to him. As far as advice goes, he thinks he could seek a worse source than his friends, even if this is new to them as well. ]
It seems as though you've done well like this, so I thought it pertinent to ask.
[ He tries to let go enough to really relax against Fjord, but his thoughts are heavy still. His hands rub slowly up and down Molly's back as though he could somehow soothe himself that way. It's nice just to be connected, Fjord's arms around him and Molly's fingers playing through his hair. ]
I think I am still struggling with the question of whether I want to be in a relationship, or whether I should. I would not have done it in Exandria. It wouldn't be wise. Why should that change here, and what happens when we go back? There are so many reasons it is a bad idea. But...

He really was a good husband, wasn't he? Hah. It's so strange, all of this ... everything I've come to learn about us on this island.
[ Taking out his device he dials Caleb on it, holding it up to Molly. ]
