[ Unsurprisingly, Caleb's thoughts linger in similar places. He holds Fjord close even so, presses a kiss to the top of his head, and lets them both recover quietly.
This is big. It changes things between them, even if it only happens this once. And that seems...unlikely, given their previous conversation. And it had been good, so good Caleb still can't quite believe it.
He ducks his head down to kiss Fjord's cheek before easing back enough to look down at him. The water is still warm around them, so there's no rush to move or get out, thankfully. Caleb is feeling more relaxed than he has in far too long. ]
Still with me? [ He asks, gently bemused. But he keeps his voice low, as if speaking too loudly will break something. ]
[ His chagrined smile when he lifts his head comes with a somewhat shy look, patting Caleb's thigh. Not knowing how to say anything of importance yet, Fjord nods to the hot tub. ]
Can you sit in front of me if we stay in here a little longer? My legs are dead.
[ Caleb is quick to remove himself from Fjord's lap, remembering the ache in his own legs when they'd been sitting reversed. He slides back into the water, submerging himself up to his shoulders. Losing that physical connection is a little disappointing, so he reestablishes some little bit of it, at least, by laying a hand over Fjord's knee. ]
I...really liked that. [ He speaks up tentatively, because one of them should say something, and it's true. And anything else he could say--thank you for being my first since them, thank you for knowing what this would mean to me, thank you for taking care of me seems like too much, especially so soon, even when he is feeling all of it so strongly. ]
[ Once Caleb is settled, two green arms loop around him and bring him back against Fjord's chest for a cuddle, the nuzzling in damp red hair turning into stray kisses on his ear as Fjord finds the most comfortable slump behind him. Ahh.
His fingers lace through Caleb's underwater, giving a squeeze. ]
Me too. [ A soft laugh puffs against a cheek, followed by a nose. ] I care about you. If needs be, you can always come to me, Caleb.
[ Oh, this is much better. With Fjord settled Caleb leans back against him and pulls their intertwined hand to rest near his sternum. Even from there Fjord can probably feel the beat of his heart as it gradually slows. ]

He falls quiet as he stares down at the vague, blurry outline of their legs pressed together in the water, the contrast between his pale skin and Fjord's darker green.
