( After her time in the Realm of Darkness, fighting constantly feels like nothing new. While there's no explanation for why the robots or plants suddenly started to attack those here, she hasn't hesitated to use her abilities to protect anyone in danger.
By the time she finds a moment of peace, it's difficult to gauge just how far she's wandered from where she had been originally staying on the island. However, with not only the floods, but the way that the robots had become violent - she knows that it may be for the best for her not to return.
It's only when she sees a familiar figure that she quickens her pace once more, making her way to them. )
[Oh, finally, he's saved. Or maybe not saved-saved, if she's all the way out here. When he'd seen the robots going off their rockers, Demyx was one of the first ones to book it away from what counted as civilization. Not without getting a little laser zap or two, though at least his coat protected him from anything serious - it still stung and left a red mark under the leather, but all things considered? He got off lucky.]
Hang on! Lemme-- [Stupid giant leaves-- He slaps a few out of the way, immediately getting splashed with what water remained on them as he darts through to link up with her.]
Dude, what happened back there? You saw how crazy those buckets of metal went too, right?
( It seems like the further they go into the forest, the bigger and more vast the plant life becomes. She waits for Demyx to catch up with her before she shakes her head. )
I don't know what could have changed for them. But, we need to keep moving.
( She sends him a meaningful look. )
Can you fight?
( She has no idea if he's a match for these robots, really. She's never actually seen Demyx fight. )
( Water magic... She'll have to be the one to take care of the robots, then. She's still got more than enough energy to keep going, but she'll have to keep her guard up enough for the both of them. )
I'll take care of them. We should try to find somewhere safe.
Ah! I can do that, I was out looking earlier and I thought I saw a place, uh...
[If there's one thing he was confident enough in, it's recon. Let's see... Was it this way? No, there was a path around here... Not the one with the yellow vines, that was a dead end... Aha!
He doesn't think twice as he reaches for Aqua's wrist, pointing in another direction with his opposite, already on the move.]
I remember seeing something down this way! S'pretty tangled up, so yank my hood or somethin' if I'm going too fast, 'kay?
( Demyx grabs onto Aqua's wrist, and she makes a small sound of surprise before she's tugged forward. Her pace is quick when they begin to move, easily keeping up with Demyx. )
Going this fast is fine. We need to get there quickly.
[He doesn't let go of her wrist, even when he has to duck and squeeze through a few trees that seemingly sprouted up within the last couple hours - they weren't here before, but at least they're all harmless all the way down to the vines hanging from their branches.
The further in they move, the thicker the foliage gets and Demyx bites back a whine. The place he scoped out earlier and holed up in is right there, but in the time he was gone? The main entrance ended up becoming overgrown with more vines, plants and branches. The windows still look pretty open at least, so there's that!]
Uh... W-Well, at least the robots can't get in, right?
( Eventually, they seem to find themselves at a dead end. Aqua looks around, watching for any sign of growing plant life. After a moment or so, she sighs a little - her keyblade disappearing. For the time being, they're safe... )
You're right. But, we'll need to keep an eye out for any signs of the plants being aggressive, too. The robots aren't the only things we need to worry about at the moment.
I dunno 'bout aggressive, but I had some get kinda...
[He makes a face, reaching up to pull on a branch hugging the building. It's not quite strong enough, and he'd feel bad if he opened up a corridor and cheated his way in. There's always a Fire spell too, but that'd be asking for trouble; one, he's always been garbage in that school. Two, he doesn't how how flammable things are or if anything would happen if they were on fire.]
Grabby, I guess is the only way to put it. I don't think they were trying to hurt me though, 'cause I tripped and one caught me before I beefed it.
[It didn't want to let go though, which was the weird thing.]
( It's strange to think that plants of all things could be after something... But, it seems to be that way now. However, when Demyx describes what the plants had done, she can't help but think that they may not be particularly dangerous. )
I wonder what they could have been after. Do you have something it may have wanted?
( The attacks from both the vines and robots feel relentless, but Aqua's always been one to find motivation to continue fighting in hectic situations like this. Considering that she doesn't know who can and can't defend themselves, she's decided that it's best if she keeps moving.
Unfortunately, the deeper she makes her way into the island, the more violent the vines seem to become. Aqua grips Rainfell tightly as she strikes at one plant after another - cutting them down with ease. She knows that she's a long way away from where they had been staying, but she's prepared for a long fight right now. )
[The plants are... pretty much unrelenting. The robots even more so, but at least they were louder? Still, she's having problems with them, same as everyone else, whenever she wants to land.
It's a right pain in the gem, actually.
But probably more so for this woman she's spotted from the air who is hacking and slashing with her weird weapon at any vines that pop up. Lapis, helpfully, watches from above the reach of any grabby vine, and calls down.]
You good down there? You're kind of far from... like, anyone else, honestly.
Yeah, I uh, hate to burst your bubble, but they're already going after other people. You destroying the ones out here does nothing to the ones where pretty much everyone else is right now.

I, ah... Iiiiiit's probably not a good idea.
[Hard pass.]
Water and electricity doesn't really mix, yanno?
[It's not a complete lie at least. But he's still not too keen on the idea of it.]

I'm alright. If I stop now, they may go after other people.

[Just so she's aware.]

( She's not going to give up helping others. She's well aware that it's unlikely that she'll be able to do this on her own. )

( She knows she's not the only one who can fight, too... but, she doesn't plan to stick around here, either. )
You're also here, too.
