[ Molly looks quite pleased that he was 'right', smiling at Jon when the man continues to explain. It still sounds annoyingly like a library - files and verification and whatnot, but at least it's a little more interesting now. ]

What's the weirdest thing you've heard?

[Jon makes a slight face, if only because the question is so--]

I honestly don't think I could narrow it down, [he admits.] The weird is what we specialize in. It's all weird. Just weird in different ways.

[He's gonna need at least a category of weirdness.]

[ That makes Molly chuckle, even more intrigued. ]

How about ghosts?

[ He picks the first thing that comes to him when thinking about the occult. ]

I know people that investigated ghosts, but I can't say I ever followed up closely myself.

[He considers, frowning a little. He suspects Melanie might do him in, but. She isn't here.]

One of the archival assistants, before she worked for us, was particularly interested in what she called war ghosts. She was in India when she got shot in the leg by some... thing. We were calling it a ghost bullet, though it was certainly quite real when we pulled it out. It'd been making her... rather violent.

[ Molly chuckles a little, but he's then definitely listening curiously. ]

That's curious. Possessed by a ghost projectile?

[ Jon comes from a really interesting world. He'd like to know more, but Molly thinks he knows how Jon works by now. No need to stretch his introvertness too thin. ]

We should hang out again, you know. I'll buy the drinks this next time.

I--I think I'd like that, [he says, realizing that he doesn't sound wildly excited, but Jon rarely sounds excited about anything. Even things he likes.] Provided the drinks don't do anything more than get us drunk.

[Mollymauk seems like a fine person, but Jon really doesn't want to lose his sense of self around the tiefling. Mostly because he doesn't want to embarrass himself further.]

I have to go push Beau into the pretty ladies by 'accident', so have a good rest of the night!
