And when I say smite, I don't exactly mean they'd kill you. Our punishments are often...creative.

No, but... you did and they'd be from your world. And goddesses to boot. Seems like the Augur would want them at least slightly depowered, to keep things going the way it wants.

[ Beau shrugs though, seemingly unmoved by Persephone's warning. ]

Well I wouldn't be telling them off by myself, would I?

Did everyone from your world lose their abilities? Did Aphrodite lose her abilities?

[ She'd ask about other dieties but she doesn't know of any others around. ]

Oh, no. [ She shakes her head, clearly terrified by the idea of actually confronting the older goddesses. Cerberus seems to pick up on this and whines softly. ]

No, but the ones that didn't, their abilities aren't the smiting type. [ This seems important to point out. ] They don't get us off the island. Or destroy the Augur. Or do anything like that. So...

[ Yeah, maybe she's being too cavalier, but Vax is a favored of the Raven Queen and the Nein helped keep a Betrayer God in chains. So. ]

But you gotta. Otherwise they'll stomp all over you.

I did say smiting was creative. As in, usually turning people into an animal or something. [ Because killing people for slighting them is too easy. ] Or forcing them to fall in love with someone or something they'd never fall in love with.

With any luck, they'll never turn up here. In fact, it'd be better if no one from home showed up here.

Oh, well if it's not death... [ Beau's pretty sure she's experienced worth than a Polymorph spell or emotional aphrodisiacs. And she has the support system of the Nein at her back, should anything happen to her in her stupidity. ]

If you say so. I know there's some people I would not like to see here, too, that's for sure.

[ Death is too easy of a punishment to inflict on someone, especially a mortal. The gods see it as more suitable to make someone wish for the release of death. ]

There are very few I'd want to see here. And those that I would like around would probably cause so much chaos... [ She's sure Hermes, Eros, and Ares would cause so much trouble in both good and bad ways. And Hades...she's not sure how he'd react to this place. And despite how much she misses him she's not sure she actually wants him here.

Though the issue of turning into butterflies every time she kisses him won't crop up right now. ]

Hey, chaos can be a good thing. [ She says it with a broad, Cheshire cat grin, like someone who enjoys being an agent of chaos. They get up to a lot of amusing stuff in the Neinhaus. It's just in their nature. ]

I figure though, the people you can stand, they'd be nice to be around. At least you don't have to, you know, explain yourself to them, in the sense of being, like, "I'm a goddess. I do this. I live here." It's all understood on some basic level which is nice.

The godly brand of chaos could be a bit much for some mortals. [ She chuckles. ]

Yeah... [ She frowns, glancing around again and everyone moving about and seeming so at ease with one another. ] It must be nice to have that.
