Oooh, okay. Is it made of rock?

[ He's not a well-educated person, so 'mineral' gets to be 'rock'. ]

[ She puts a finger to her lip, about to turn to look at her chosen object of the day but realizes (belatedly) that'd be helping him. Lottie ends up just staring at some random tree, trying to recall the mental image of it in her mind. And then - ]

No! It's made of plastic.

Plastic... that's the thing that looks like metal but is soft?

[ Molly has no reference for plastics. Damn fantasy worlds! ]

Is it small?

[oomfies]

[ ..Is this having a diabolical advantage in a way?? Him not knowing how to pick out plastic??? Lottie ponders over the Moral Implication™ of continuing this game knowing that as she replies. ]

Yes! It's small.

[ A pause. ]

I don't know if it looks like metal, though.. I guess I've never thought about it before? It's definitely shiny. And bendy, kinda.

It's certainly an advantage, but who knows? Maybe he can figure it out anyway.

[ Molly taps his lower lip, looking around a bit to see if he can figure out if she had inspiration from something. ]

Is it something we use every day?

[oomfies]

Yes.

[ Lottie jumps a little in her excitement, inadvertently shaking the cup in her hand. Luckily nothing splashes, but she does take a second to glance down and lookover for damage control before remembering - game, they're playing a game. And she needs to be inconspicuous - ]

Yeah! We use it all the time every day!

[ Unfortunately, Molly literally makes a living off of reading people, and he's got a bit of a clue. ]

Are we using it right now?

[oomfies]

[ Oh - hm. She points a finger at him, half-hearted because she's trying to figure whether she should give it up here or keep the charade up. In the end, that finger is drawn back, both hands almost protectively (curiously? Suspiciously?? She's all Over the Place™) covering her cup. ]

...Do you know what it is?

[devilstongue]

[ He just looks amused, smiling as he points at him and then seems to change her mind. Molly's tail flicks to point the very tip at the cup she's trying to cover. ]

Is that it?

[oomfies]

Well, I thought picking the jerky or that sign would be too, like, obvious.

[ This is said with all seriousness, because Lottie isn't a particularly creative person. ]

It was this or any of the other [ She says 'other' like there is more than one cup on the table with said jerky at any given time. ] cups here, by the way. I wanted to try something easy since, you know.. First round.

[ A pause. ]

...Was it easy? Or like regular easy?

[devilstongue]

It wasn't easy!

[ Molly lies, smoothly. He's all for making people happy, after all. ]

I would never have gotten it if you didn't tell me what plastic was, honestly.

[ He glances around and smiles a bit, turning back to her and crossing his arms. ]

Alright, I have one.

[oomfies]

[ He has one?? Already? Awesome!

...And then, approximately after ten seconds of silence, Lottie realizes she's actually supposed to say something (or, you know, ask a question preferably). She does a quick gloss around the yard and around the people, ]

Okay. Is it green?

[devilstongue]

[ Molly chuckles, shaking his head and having another swig of his drink. ]

Nope. Not green.

[ He could have gone with her hair, but that would have been far too easy. ]

[oomfies]

[ So, definitely not the grass. And for sure not her hair - she hums aloud. ]

Is it.. Alive?

[devilstongue]

It's not. It's an object.

[ He looks amused, watching her think and trying to follow along with her expressions to see if she can figure it out. ]

[oomfies]

[ Well... Fuck. There's ten billion objects here!! A finger taps at her cheek. ]

Is it round?

[devilstongue]

No, but it has a very specific shape.

[ He's doing his best to not jingle his horns teasingly, because that would give it away. ]

[ A very specific shape, huh.. Lottie stares at him, and stares. And stares. And then she comes to the conclusion she should definitely not go with asking if it's square shaped, like she originally planned. ]

Is it pointy and sparkly?

[ Smart girl! Molly laughs and nods slightly, tail making a happy swish. ]

It certainly is!

[oomfies]

[ Before she can announce what she thinks it is, she feels like she's having some intense Deja Vu™ come that happy little swish of his tail. Which is, first, cute, but second of all really wracking her brain up. ]

Sorry, I have to ask - [ A pause. ] this is not twenty questions related at all, just to be clear - do you post often? On social media?

[devilstongue]

[ That earns her a curious look, and Molly nods. ]

I do. It's a bit of an addiction, now.

[oomfies]

[ She gives him an equally curious look back, although hers is considerably more sweaty because she's trying hard to find a way to phrase this question without sounding........... Dumb. In a quiet, smaller voice: ]

..Is all of you purple?

[ Molly says, and then winks at her. Would she like to see, asks that coy and amused look on his face. ]

[oomfies]

[ Her cheeks flare because she totally knows the nuance behind that look he's giving her. Lottie, however, is stubborn, even when she's embarrassed. ]

I-I don't mean it like that.. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't another, similarly colored, purple butt I could've seen!

[devilstongue]

[ There's a pause at that, and then the tiefling laughs. ]
