[ Molly chuckles at the implication and shakes his head. ] More like a parent reunited with their child. [ He says, and now he definitely know who's who in that relationship. Nott-Veth has a kid, after all. ]

Pretty sure they're soulmates or something, though. [ Like him and Yasha. ]

As for the food, please help yourself! Compliments go to the fellow in the perfect purple-colored robe, he's the one that made it pop out of nowhere. [ He has no idea how that happened but Molly isn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth! ]

As for welcoming home rituals? Booze and hugs! Your offering is definitely up her alley.

[The 'purple robes' rings a bell, though Oran had seen the man mostly out of them. He raises his brows, but deigns not to comment further until his suspicions are confirmed. Ah-- wait, there he is, across the way.

Despite himself, the tiefling's tail swishes.]

You all attract the most interesting types, [he admits. Well... he supposes he should load his plate--for two, perhaps, since he has a suspicion that Jon won't leave the far wall even if he's slowly wasting away. But, first, he has an important mission.

He leans in to bump Molly, then gives that suggested hug.]

I'm glad you're all taking care of yourselves. I know I should never have worried, but life here is very strange.

We really do, don't we? [ Shakaste, Calianna... a bunch of others after his time. Essek. Now these Tal'dorians as well. The Mighty Nein liked their broken, weird people and made them family.

He smiles as Oran gives him a hug, smiling and then patting the other tiefling's cheek teasingly. ]

We certainly are taking care of ourselves, in one way or the other. It's sweet of you to worry. [ He winks a little. ] How are you and Even doing?

[Oran's expression sours, but just for a moment. He schools his temperament, because really, he is just feeling petty, that's all.]

Were you caught up in one of those dreams? The... ah... the wedding ones?

Even didn't take it well. He's just left. Again. It's... been a while.

[ That was an interesting reaction, and Molly files that one away for later. Instead he nods as Oran mentions the dreams, briefly glancing over to their red-headed wizard before returning to his friend. ]

I did. It was... an experience. We took it in stride, though. But you're saying he left?

[ As someone who has just gone through something similar with his lover (though not related to the dreams) and thus had his very first heartache, Molly feels like he understands what Oran means. ]

I'm sorry. It's awful when someone just ups and leaves instead of talking about it.

I'm sure it's fine, [the grey tiefling responds, but he doesn't quite seem it. Fine, that is. Still, he tells himself he's content to pile his plate and fill his glass and talk to friends and that is enough. Surely.]

Have you ever met a wizard with a thick skull? I didn't think it was possible, but here we are. I'll crack some kind of formula or circle that gets through eventually, and in the meantime I have much less stick-in-the-mud company.

[He gestures to... of all people... Jon, who is currently crouched by Caleb's cat, looking for all the world like he'd rather catnap the familiar away than have to come anywhere near the Mighty Nein or their compatriots.]

I think all wizards have really thick skulls, otherwise all that brain would fall out. It takes some time to make a crack in it so your words can get in.

[ Molly says, giving Caleb a slight look and fond smile before tossing his arm around Oran again. ]

...and you sure do! Anyone you haven't me before, aside for our guest of honor? I'll introduce you!

[Alas, if Oran noticed the frequent darted looks, he didn't say anything... but it's more likely that he simply doesn't spot the connection. Not at the moment, anyways. ((Does getting a 9 in perception mean anything??)) He seems mollified, however, and pulls away to straighten his outfit.]

I'd love that. I really would. Anyone that's a friend of yours is going to be fun to get to know.

[ Maybe, maybe not. The looks do not mean much more than that he can sympathize about stubborn wizards, even if he's not involved with his own. ]

Come on then, darling. Let's meet the idiots I call friends.

[ ...and he will do just that, pointing out people for Oran and introducing him. ]
