[ Matt has enough vampire exes to his name that he's not fazed by fangs. What he's really not prepared for is that flashy bow, though it makes him smile. ]

Matt Jamison. Right back at you, Mollymauk.

My party experience is only getting better. [ He peers at him angelically for a moment, before grinning again. ] But ah, seriously. It's the nicest thing that's happened since I got here, so, thank you.

[ Oh, this guy reminds Molly of a puppy. He's cute, and will probably have a really shitty time here when they weird things start. Still, there's something absolutely wonderful to his big ego to be admired like this. ]

Glad to be of help with that, coming here can be messy. How about we refill our glasses and you can tell me about yourself.

[ A huff of laughter. ]

That sounds great. [ If there's anything messier than spilling out of your bathtub onto a robot-strewn shore, Matt doesn't want to know it. Glasses are filled; Matt toasts Molly with his and takes a sip. ] So what do you want to know?

[ The glasses go 'tink' and Molly takes a deep swig, shameless in his debauchery and enjoyment of this party. ]

Whatever you want to tell! I'm always curious and you look like you have a story or three.

[ There's another wink, and his tail swishes behind him. ]

Are you from another one of those worlds where everyone is a human?

[ Matt's smile lilts crooked at the wink, eyes following the path of the tail. (TAIL. Tail???) ]

There are worlds where everybody's a human? [ That's weird, but he supposes that's the way evolution crumbles sometimes. It does also flicker through his mind that maybe on such worlds, there were non-humans, but currently there aren't any. ] Ahh, which is to say: no. Although nobody where I'm from looks anything like you.

[ He smiles again, a hint of a wince in it this time. Matt wants to be honest, but he doesn't want to make anybody feel bad and he has no roadmap for horns and tails. ]

We have humans, werewolves, vampires, psychics, witches ... the last two are usually recognized as being humans, but not, you know. One hundred percent.

[ Molly's been around plenty of people interested in the exotic and strange parts of him, and he understands the interest. Hell, it's all he needs sometimes when he's horny and looking. As long as he's not treated as lesser, he's more than happy to show off - which is exactly what he does as that tail curls at his feet and he tosses his hair a bit so that the horn jewelry jingle and draw attention to those as well. ]

Nobody anywhere looks anything like me.

[ He says with an overly-haughty and joking voice, before listening to Matt's explanation. It makes him a little confused, though, and he puts a hand on a hip. ]

Aren't all of those kind of subsets of humans?

[ Matt laughs at the hair toss, little jingles catching pleasantly on his ears. ]

I mean, my opinion is we all come from the same place and the rest is just dressing. [ He shrugs, taking a sip of his drink. ] But there's--variably relevant biological arguments, and then past that everything gets political.

That's really weird, honestly. I boggles my mind when places only have like, humans and then humans with extra padding. There are so many different kind of people in our world.

[ It just sounded boring. ]

What's your thing?

[ Matt manages to simultaneously perk up and look a touch nervous. He doesn't actually, consciously think that Mollymauk'll care, but it's definitely a shift to be so open about his powers around here.

He thinks he likes it? It's early to tell. ]

Oh, uh. Magic? I do other stuff, I'm in school, but that's my ...

[ "Hobby" is too little and "vocation" sounds pretentious. ]

Thing, yeah. What about you?

This place really seems to love spellcasters. Do you have access to all your magic?

[ His wizards, cleric and warlock seemed to have issues, after all. It would be interesting to know if it was true outside of their little Exandria circle.

Then Molly points at himself and smiles. ]

Me? Oh, nothing so fancy. I have just put blades where blades need to be.

[ He's obviously not wearing his right now, but somehow he can still act like he does, drawing an imaginary scimitar and twirling it. ]

[ Matt's eyebrows climb. ]

Like a ... soldier? Or a surgeon? [ He smiles, self-deprecating. ] Sorry, those are the two blade-oriented options I can think of back where I come from.

I haven't done like, a comprehensive self-assessment, but so far my magic seems okay.

Oh, a fighter! Not a surgeon.

[ He's not here to chop people's limbs off, okay? Surgeons are scary in the olden days. ]

You should have a check, you don't want to find out you're without it when you need it the most.

[ A twitch of his lips over the rim of his glass. ] Like if I have to battle the local wildlife?

[ Molly may have noticed from the everything about him, but Matt has never been in a fight in his life. He avoided bullying in middle and high school through a combination of closeting, party-hosting, drugs, and the odd sexual favor. ]

I guess I could see if I can replicate a gas mask or something. I'm assuming the plants do their thing through pollen or spores.

Not all things here are a sexual danger. Sketchy shit happens now and then, and there's some monsters around that could be trouble at any moment.

[ Thinking of the sea monster and the harpies, for one. ]

This place can also mess with your mind, and while it has been things that do not do actual harm so far, there's nothing that says it cannot start. As much as I enjoy this sex-positive Fucksville, not all of it is fun and sex games and you should be wary.

[ Matt's eyebrows raise, a bit more seriously this time.

Edelgard had said something about mind-altering music, as he recalls. And while she was very composed in her retelling, that doesn't necessarily mean that what she experienced didn't upset her. Hell, Mollymauk could've had some bad time that Matt's not privy to. ]

[ Molly winks, more at ease now that the guy was taking it a bit more seriously. ]

So who have you talked to so far? Anyone you fancy?

[ Matt can't fail to smile in the face of that wink. ]

Oh, um, let's see--I met Beau like, my first few hours here? She's great. [ As soon as Matt runs into a nice girl, he will try to wingman that immediately. His smile turns a little crooked once more. ] But on a fancying level ... I mean, I haven't met anybody so far who isn't pretty fancy-able.

Beau's awful but I love her.

[ There's a very clear sibling fondness there, and he smiles a little. Sure, she was great, but it's not like he's going to admit that.

At the second part, he smirks a bit. ]

Well, this place only seems to bring in attractive people, so I'm not surprised.

[ The only one that wasn't 'conventionally attractive' that he knew was maybe Bull, but to Molly he was hot as fuck. ]

[ Matt's lips twitch a little bit for the description of Beau. His own sister would probably stop at "awful." Maybe "but" now that they're both adults.

But there's hotties to discuss, so he answer's Molly's smirk with a grin. ]

Right? It's absolutely unreal. If it weren't for all the extremely detailed sensory experiences, and the fact that I can read and remember things in linear order, I'd assume I was dreaming them all up.

Oh, it's real, even if it might seem even more of a dream now and then. Sex island is an interesting place. Just remember to be upfront about what you don't like so when you get messed up by any aphrodisiacs or something, people will know. Otherwise you should have a great time.

[ He raises his glass a bit. ]

[ A crooked smile, as he holds his glass out. ] Yes. Please.

And thanks for the advice. [ Personally, Matt will try just about anything twice, but he appreciates the sentiment. He figures most people would probably benefit from it, and there's nothing wrong with establishing boundaries early and often. ] Although ... okay, on a scale from 1 to 10, how worried should I be around here?

[ This is a lot of warnings to pop up in one conversation, is all. ]

[ Molly fills the glass with whatever's closes, smiling as it goes up to the very brim. He's not here to limit himself and neither should anyone else, in his opinion.

At the question, he gives a little hum, and then sips his own drink. ]

Solid 3, maybe? Less than being in a shifty alley with shifty strangers, but more than a walk through the main thoroughfare in broad daylight as a human. Just be smart, and have fun.

[ He's just making sure nobody thinks this is a super smooth ride. ]
