[ Beau tries to connect the monk's liking ribbon to Aphrodite wearing a ribbon in her hair in some way that is not, like, "Hey, look at me, girl," and fails to come up with one. But there has to be one. Or she's being played with.

Probably being played with. Just like with the ribbon around the bottle, thinking it's more special.

Beau shrugs in an agreeing sort of way. ]

It is. She'll appreciate it and hopefully not drink it all in one go.

[To be fair, Aphrodite just wants everyone to look at her always. Knowing that there's any kind of attraction there is all the more delightful to tease about it.]

They're meant to be enjoyed. As quickly or as slowly as one would like.

[She nudges one of the unribboned ones in Beau's direction.]

And what about you? Do you like to savor your drink? Or do you like to have it all in one go?

[ Beau reaches for the bottle, uncorking it so she can sniff at the liquid inside first. Seems only reasonable. ]

Seems when it's as good as this, I should savor.

[ She says it in part because it's true: she knows when to savor and when to chug, because she knows her good alcohol from her bad. But also because it's Aphrodite. Were it someone else, she might have gone with a lie to further her rough persona. ]

[There was no right answer, but Aphrodite nods approvingly at the one that Beau gives.]

Good. Because while I would like to say that there is more where it came from, the Augur's supply was quite limited when I asked for it.

[There's nothing circumspect about the amber liquid, and upon drinking Beau will find that it tastes like some combination of her favorite drinks - nectar isn't quite so good as ambrosia, but it has the same sort of qualities that makes it adjust to the imbiber's preferences. Literally everyone enjoys nectar.

Fingers laced together, elbows on her knees, she smiles,]

It just means that I will have to earn more of it, of course. So in the meantime I am happy to share it with my friends.

Yeah, I'm sure Fjord'll be happy to help you with earning it.

[ She says this with a wry tone and a bit of a knowing smirk. She doesn't know Aphrodite very well, so there's almost a shy note to her words, a sneaky glance up from the bottle to see if the goddess is offended by the insinuation. ]

I mean, sometimes it's easier than others, right?

[There's a surprised look, and then the smirk on Beau's face is reciprocated, pulling long across Aphrodite's features. It's not remotely a secret what kind of relationship she has with Fjord (fates know that she's probably made a lot of noise in their house by now), and Aphrodite doesn't seem remotely put off by the insinuation.]

Indeed. He's helped me complete almost an entire line by himself. [Said with a sneaky smile,]

Although there are some that are challenging... [A hand on her own cheek and she sighs a little, more put on than actually troubled.] I don't have any desire to subject anyone to a whip. I am much more interested in pleasure than pain.
