MINGLE 001: FOOD, FUN, FUCKING

Guests are 'gently encouraged' by enforcer robots to gather into what appears to be a central gathering place in the middle of the settlement area. Attendance is quite mandatory. Once everyone has gathered, holographic emitters kick on and display... static. Loudspeakers tell the captive audience to prepare for an important announcement, and moments later a proper but mechanical voice chimes in:

Greetings, organisms! R̷e̶j̸o̴i̴c̷e̸, for the portents foresee a time of glorious providence! We have recorded your actions a̵n̸d̵ ̴o̸u̶r̵ ̵c̶a̵p̸a̷b̷i̴l̸i̷t̵i̶e̸s̶ ̴have upgraded accordingly! The fabricator general automata grant you a boon, and shall provide much glamorous f̷i̶x̴t̶u̶r̶e̴s̷ ̴to aid in your future acts. Frolic and make merrily, all!

To honor your contributions and celebrate your arrival, you will be invited to attend our first sultry salacious soiree. Join your fellow chosen and f̵u̶l̵f̴i̵l̸l̵ ̵y̸o̷u̶r̷ ̷f̸u̴n̴c̷t̷i̶o̶n̶!

And with that, the display ends and characters are allowed to go as they please.

Upon returning, characters now find that dormant manufacturing robots have been reactivated, and will accept requests to build certain household fixtures, i.e., bedding, couches, loveseats. Because who wants to bang on a dusty cot, right? The quality will not be high. Imagine low-end IKEA. Build quality also varies dramatically and seems to depend on how old and corrupted the machine is. (As with all things in this world, quality is improved with intimate acts.)

But what is this celebration you've been invited to? That much is simple as sin. It's a mechanically sponsored party. Of particular note to hungry newcomers will be a fully stocked banquet ample spirits and naturally, a dedicated area for an all-out orgy. It's a good old-fashioned party, Roman style!

These are no hospital rations. This is a full-fledged feast. It's no less dangerous, though.
Naturally, the robots have seen fit to add a little bit "extra." Some offerings are entirely innocuous, while others have bevy of effects that you'll soon discover.

You may find yourself only able to speak the truth, or maybe after one bite you find yourself instantly smitten with the next person you see. Some foods incite obedience, others rebellion. And some... well, you can't have an orgy without some good, old-fashioned aphrodisiac.

The music has been modulated to change the way you think. Of course it's electro-synth, what else would robots play?

Slower music induces sleep; maybe you fall into a cuddle-puddle with some of your fellow kidnappees. Faster music encourages you to dance. And some music? That's what upstairs is for.

Speaking of upstairs, what's an orgy without the orgy? You may find yourself auspiciously able to fill your decadent A5 squares. In a large room that seems unusually renovated, as if the robots had given it special attention just for this day, a floor covered in pillows awaits the beast with two backs. No one is turned away, and those attending will get a notification from their devices that they have received... additional credits? What could this mean?

[ Xue Yang stares at Shen Qingqiu for several seconds, the gears in his head visibly turning. Then suddenly he lets go.

In an instant he's whirled back to the table full of food, grabbed a new plate, and heaped it full of food that he's enjoyed up to this point that seems along the lines of the sort of things Xiao Xingchen likes. This guy probably has similar preferences to Xiao Xingchen. They even wear their hair in a similar style.

He turns back and holds out the plate, offering it to Shen Qingqiu. ]

For you.

[ Considering this is Xue Yang, it's impressively considerate. ]

[For a moment Shen Qingqiu sighs in relief as Xue Yang seems to have let him go. He lowers his fan, shaking and then wiping it as if to try and restore its honor. It isn't until Xue Yang returns with a food offering that he looks over and blinks.]

Huh?

[This felt like something out of a comedy sketch. Was he in a comedy sketch? Was that it? Was that what he was worth here?

Though, on impulse and reflex, he did reach out and take some. It did look good, and from earlier munching, he knew it was.

WHY WAS HE EATING MORE OF THE DRUGGED FOOD!?]

[ Yes, he is taking the suggestion literally. ]

[This was quite strange, but the sudden willingness to do whatever he said was... comfortable. Deceptively comfortable.

[What would it be? He looked like a cultivator... maybe a martial display?]

[ Xue Yang leads Shen Qingqiu to a couch on the side, one of the ones not currently otherwise occupied. (Luckily, he isn't thinking about bringing him upstairs to the orgy.) He sits him down, but then Xue Yang doesn't back up too far.

He's never done something like this himself before, but thanks to his varied experiences helping his friend extract Jin Guangshan from brothels, he's seen this sort of thing plenty of times. And Xue Yang is a good study. A coy smile plays across his lips as he starts to move in time with the music. After a few moments he starts to run his fingers along the edges of his robes: along his collar, dipping beneath the edge of his belt, and the like.

It's a good chance to notice his missing finger, if Shen Qingqiu isn't distracted for one reason or another otherwise. ]

[A missing finger, an excuse for a backstory, character development, easy identifier to find 'That Man!' he didn't pay much mind to it, otherwise he might instantly go 'traits of a villain!'

Instead, his focus was on the sudden pulling of clothing as if he were going to remove it.

Nope! No! This was stupid! This was embarrassing! Who could sit through this and not laugh?

He raised up his fan opening it to separate himself from the sight.]

Not that kind of show.

[ Xue Yang stops immediately and stares at Shen Qingqiu with a look that's almost offended. ]

Why not? I'm not a woman but I can keep my pants on. Just imagine I've got small tits.

[He felt the blood coming back up his throat.]

No! No... that....

That is a taste this master does not have, one kind is enough, no need for two....

[He couldn't help but lean back, not that it really did anything.]

[ He leans in a little, not quite enough to match the leaning back but enough to make it clear what he's doing. ]

[ Xue Yang reaches down to Shen Qingqiu's plate, takes some of the food, and places it half in his mouth half sticking out. He leans in, letting his eyes go half-lidded, intending to get Shen Qingqiu to eat the other half. And of course, to kiss him as part of this.

One hand goes to hold his shoulder, Xue Yang's grip for once not rough or aggressive.

Eat your food and you'll be interested soon enough. ]

[What was this? The pocky game? But with meat!? He wasn't that brave! He wasn't brave at all!

But, he was also not willing to just backhand this guy off him, that seemed too much.

Fine, all he had to do was take some of it and block him before the end, break it and move away, how hard could that possibly be?

He took the end in his teeth ready to just bite down and put an end to this strange and contrived event scenario.]

[ Once Xue Yang feels the movement of Shen Qingqiu taking some of the food into his mouth, he lets go with his own teeth so he can move all the way down the piece of food and press their lips together. He doesn't care if he has to eat most of it himself like this. The kiss is the important part. ]

[It was a trap! A trap! Though, as much as he had food in his mouth and that was mildly disgusting, for a moment he could not help but think on the fact that there was a lack of teeth, and somehow that was both strange, and a new concept but not wholeheartedly unwelcome.]

[ Xue Yang continues to kiss, slowly but insistently, chewing down the food a little bit at a time so that the two of them can get to kissing properly. He can be patient for now if it gets him what he wants in the end. ]

[For a moment he is lost, or perhaps trying to mentally check out, it was hard to say. This was still a bit of a shock, though he should have expected it, that had been the goal since the beginning, hadn't it?\

Still, it was too much, and finally, letting himself properly react to it, and remember that he was an immortal master! He raised his fan to hit Xue Yang on the head and break the kiss.]

Chew your food properly first!

[ Xue Yang startles, but for whatever reason doesn't lash out in return. He sits there with a blank look on his face for several seconds, then slowly chews and swallows the food as instructed.

Once done, he leans in again. ]

Alright. Let's kiss now.

[ And then he goes to resume the kiss. ]
