MINGLE 001: FOOD, FUN, FUCKING

Guests are 'gently encouraged' by enforcer robots to gather into what appears to be a central gathering place in the middle of the settlement area. Attendance is quite mandatory. Once everyone has gathered, holographic emitters kick on and display... static. Loudspeakers tell the captive audience to prepare for an important announcement, and moments later a proper but mechanical voice chimes in:

Greetings, organisms! R̷e̶j̸o̴i̴c̷e̸, for the portents foresee a time of glorious providence! We have recorded your actions a̵n̸d̵ ̴o̸u̶r̵ ̵c̶a̵p̸a̷b̷i̴l̸i̷t̵i̶e̸s̶ ̴have upgraded accordingly! The fabricator general automata grant you a boon, and shall provide much glamorous f̷i̶x̴t̶u̶r̶e̴s̷ ̴to aid in your future acts. Frolic and make merrily, all!

To honor your contributions and celebrate your arrival, you will be invited to attend our first sultry salacious soiree. Join your fellow chosen and f̵u̶l̵f̴i̵l̸l̵ ̵y̸o̷u̶r̷ ̷f̸u̴n̴c̷t̷i̶o̶n̶!

And with that, the display ends and characters are allowed to go as they please.

Upon returning, characters now find that dormant manufacturing robots have been reactivated, and will accept requests to build certain household fixtures, i.e., bedding, couches, loveseats. Because who wants to bang on a dusty cot, right? The quality will not be high. Imagine low-end IKEA. Build quality also varies dramatically and seems to depend on how old and corrupted the machine is. (As with all things in this world, quality is improved with intimate acts.)

But what is this celebration you've been invited to? That much is simple as sin. It's a mechanically sponsored party. Of particular note to hungry newcomers will be a fully stocked banquet ample spirits and naturally, a dedicated area for an all-out orgy. It's a good old-fashioned party, Roman style!

These are no hospital rations. This is a full-fledged feast. It's no less dangerous, though.
Naturally, the robots have seen fit to add a little bit "extra." Some offerings are entirely innocuous, while others have bevy of effects that you'll soon discover.

You may find yourself only able to speak the truth, or maybe after one bite you find yourself instantly smitten with the next person you see. Some foods incite obedience, others rebellion. And some... well, you can't have an orgy without some good, old-fashioned aphrodisiac.

The music has been modulated to change the way you think. Of course it's electro-synth, what else would robots play?

Slower music induces sleep; maybe you fall into a cuddle-puddle with some of your fellow kidnappees. Faster music encourages you to dance. And some music? That's what upstairs is for.

Speaking of upstairs, what's an orgy without the orgy? You may find yourself auspiciously able to fill your decadent A5 squares. In a large room that seems unusually renovated, as if the robots had given it special attention just for this day, a floor covered in pillows awaits the beast with two backs. No one is turned away, and those attending will get a notification from their devices that they have received... additional credits? What could this mean?

I. A Flirtatious Feast

They sure don't have stuff like this in Fodlan.

[ Yuri looks over the array of food that is available to eat. Just like Balthus, he can't quite disagree with free food. And he is quite hungry. When is the last time that he ate? He can't really remember all that well. But all of this food does look good and he simply can't resist. So Yuri does what any starving man would do and just begins putting every appetizing thing he can find on a singular plate. Once he is satisfied with what he's gotten, Yuri takes a seat in a place that seems the most available and eats.

Mmm.

A burst of flavors that hits his tongue just right. It reminds him of food from the Dining Hall that he always enjoyed so much. He looks to his side and sees...someone. They're quite good looking and Yuri can't quite help himself.

He leans towards you, a smile on his face. ]

Enjoying the food, are you? Maybe I could cook something for you sometime. Preferably your place?

II. Let's Dance

A. [ The music is slow and simple, something that Yuri is a lot more used to dancing to. He remembers the competition with the White Heron Cup. His feet kind of move by themselves. He dances with just about anyone he can get his hands on, his mood a lot more lighthearted thanks to the number of drinks he had earlier on. He goes from partner to partner, showing them a smile and giving them compliments.

He only stops when he does begin to feel sleepy. He waves goodbye to his last dance partner of the night before he stumbles his way to an available bed. Well, he thinks is available. He doesn't expect to feel another warm body in there as well but he doesn't have the energy to care. He actually cuddles closer to the body there. ]

I hope I'm not taking up too much space, friend.

B (NSFW). The way they dance is...very interesting.

[ Yuri watches on with interest as couples dance close to each other. It isn't the intimate kind of dancing that is seen in Fodlan when the closest people get are chest to chest. But the way that these people dance are a lot more intimate. If Yuri were any other person, he would be flustered. But he really does want to try it out for himself. He is always open to learning new things, after all. He's a student for a reason and the professor isn't around to teach him things like this. So, maybe someone else could? He glances over to you who happens to be next to him. He leans against you just a bit. ]

Do you mind teaching me how to dance like that? [ He tilts his head to the side just a bit, giving a friendly smile as he slides a hand around your waist. ] I'm a fast learner, I promise. It'll be a fun time.

[ And if things get a bit heated, Yuri will offer that they head upstairs. ]

[zack is just about finished with his own food and is thinking of getting seconds, to be honest, because it's been a while since he's had a meal like this for him to have his fill. he should probably reconsider why the food is there in the first place, but before he can even work out that thought—there's someone with purple hair leaning close to him and asking him questions.]

You can cook? Well, uh, I really haven't got a place at the moment, so that might be a little hard...

[ How does he go about getting housing arrangements? Though, considering where he's been, living just about anywhere is possible. He's lived under a monastery. Definitely up there on the tier list of places he shouldn't live but decided to live in anyways. ]

All you need is a bed and some warmth to make something home. I'm sure you could ask for a bed. I can provide the warmth if you need it. As long as you don't mind me hogging the covers a bit.

[ He smirks.

If he were in his right mind, he'd probably berate himself for coming up with such horrible lines. But he isn't so bad pickup lines are what he's gonna be doing! ]

[ Yuri tries to think of the last time that he has actually slept outdoors. There was that one time when he was trying to carry out a mission to assassinate someone and he had no other choice but to sleep outside. But it wasn't really fun. More like just taking care of business. So, he could say yes...? ]

I've slept outdoors a couple of times. But why are you more suited for the outdoors? You can't appreciate nature that much, can you?

[zack grins, apparently pleased with that reply.]

I've gotten used to it, and besides— [he claps a hand on yuri's shoulder.] What isn't there to enjoy? You seen the sunrise out here? Feels like I'm looking at a painting.
