[Jester helps him gather all the dishes, piling everything neatly, and then starts toward the stairs.]
I have to grab my sketchbook! I'll meet you up there, okay?
[She heads up to her and Beau's room, where she scoops up her sketchbook from her bedside table along with a few pencils, before heading back down the hall toward Caleb's room. She doesn't go in just yet, because it feels rude to intrude on his personal space without him, so instead she just waits for him out in the hall, humming a happy tune to herself under her breath.]
[ Caleb is quick about getting everything cleaned up, leaving the living room without evidence of their dinner. He follows Jester up the stairs in just a few few minutes and finds her waiting for him by his door, sketch book in hand. The door is not only unlocked, but partially ajar. Caleb pushes it open the rest of the way, glancing over his shoulder with a small smile as he leads the way inside. ]
I meant it when I said that you are welcome.
[ The lamp on the desk and the much smaller one on a shelf above his bed are already on, illuminating the space with pale gold light. There have been a couple minor changes, most notably a woven circle rug covering the floor in the center of the room and new curtains draped over the window, both a combination of warm green, purple, red, and yellow. ]
It was a good suggestion. That and the curtains alone have made the space a little more welcoming.
[ After easing the door shut behind them, he joins her. The rug is big, wide enough to touch the edge of Veth's old bed and his desk chair, encompassing most of the center of the room. It's not soft exactly, but nicer on bare feet than the wooden floorboards. ]
[Her toes wiggle into the rug a little, getting a proper feel for it. Then, deciding it's the perfect place from which to observe the illusion, plops down on the floor right where she stands, settling her sketchbook into her lap and pulling out a pencil.]
Speaking of which, let's do this thing! I'm excited to get inspired.

Oh, I know, I just didn't want to...intrude and stuff. I'm trying to be better about that.
[Especially in this house, where she's liable to see someone's ass getting wrecked if she's not careful.
Jester immediately goes to the middle of the room and does a twirl on the new rug, beaming as she takes in the curtains, too.]
Ooh, you got the new rug and stuff! It looks so good, Cay-leb!

And your mural will add a personal touch.
