The Rain
A. Torrential

It's miserable. The rain is coming down in sheets and Jon can barely see far enough to know where he's going. He had to change direction when he ran into flooding. Now none of the buildings look familiar, he's gotten completely turned around and he's soaked through.

Is that a shape he sees in the torrent?

"Hey!" he calls, trying to be heard above the rain.

B. Seeking Shelter

Jon is shivering hard by the time he manages to get out of the rain. He's found high enough ground that none of the buildings are flooded, but there isn't much in the way of creature comforts here beyond the fact that he's somewhere dry.

He pauses when he realizes he's not the only one to have come across this particular shelter. He doesn't say anything for a moment, just stands and stares looking like a stray cat.

The Love Dart
"Ow!"

Jon scowls and rubs his arm where a thorn or something has gone straight through the clothes he's wearing. He looks around, trying to determine which wildly growing plant is the culprit but he can't quite tell. He doesn't get far before the rush of heat hits him. Jon puts his hand out to support himself against the nearest wall. Arousal has almost always been a sort of after thought, a thing to just deal with or ignore depending on his mood.

But now--now it's consuming. He's never felt like this before. Heart pounding and head buzzing, he can't concentrate, he can't--

"Oh, God."

The... Robots?
Jon had every intention of giving the robots a wide berth as they try to take care of the plant life. But when they start getting close to the place he's been calling his own, he suddenly gets the utterly irrational urge to save it. There's nothing there to save, mind, other than some cheap furniture. But that doesn't stop Jon from grabbing a brick or rock or whatever is convenient, and it doesn't stop him from hurling it at the robot getting too close to his building.

It hits square-on, which surprises Jon more than anything.

Of course, then the robot notices him.

"Oh for fuck's sake."

Jon backs away, and when it's clear that the robot isn't going to accept retreat, he turns and runs.

Robots

He's not exactly fond of using his motorcycle in the rain, but desperate times call for desperate measures. He was planning on just checking around the island and seeing what was around. But seeing somebody who seems to be fleeing the malfunctioning robots means he can't just leave him in need.

Omi reaches out a hand for Jon, waiting for him to take it and get on the back of the bike.

"I can drive faster than it moves."

He doesn't have to be told twice, let alone three times. Once Jon's on the bike, Omi's hitting the gas, moving them quickly away from the killer robots. It seems like he's got a specific place he's going, dodging away from the plants and any other robots that might be coming after them.

There's enough going on that it's completely fair that Jon doesn't get off of him immediately. Omi pulls up next to a cave and glances back to check on his passenger.

"You okay? I know a motorcycle can be a bit much." But it's definitely better than being attacked by robots.
