He pulls away as soon as they're indoors, breaks the contact and disappears into the bathroom when they reach the door, letting it close behind him. Stripping off his robes, he moves to turn on the water, leaving it cold before he steps under the shower head.

And his eyes close, his fingers curling into his palms as he lets the water sluice over him, not even moving to do anything else.
