[Even if Jiang Cheng didn't already have some suspicions about Xue Yang being a lunatic, he'd definitely see it confirmed now. This progression of events makes sense, almost: if you don't respect life, how can you respect death?
Between that and the general obsession this place seems to have with fornication, Jiang Cheng is only briefly surprised by Xue Yang's target. He's not even that offended - yet - but he certainly is pissed off, and doing his level best to both squirm out of the way and aim another kick or two (or ten) at Xue Yang. In the long run, it probably won't accomplish much more than tightening the vines' already painful grip on him, and he'll have to be careful not to do himself any real damage... but he's not ready to give up the fight just yet.]
