The sectioned off area certainly works well for the purpose, and Chung Myung takes in the terrain as he saunters his way over to Molly, pressing his foot against the ground to see just how much give it might have during this fight.
It's a luxury to be able to assess something like this. Most of the fights he's had have been very in the moment, and he's had to react without getting to gauge just how good his footing may or may not be during the battle.
