vax'ildan follows fjord's eyes, watching him shift his gaze all over vax's form like he's the most wonderful thing the half orc has ever seen. vax doesn't feel deserving of such praises, of such kindnesses, but being held safely and securely here in fjord's arms, he doesn't have it in him to argue it right now.

the way those strong arms wrap around his shoulders helps him relax, and those three little words, a whispered i love you, sends chills down vax's spine despite the heat of the water all around them.

"fjord," he whispers, and for a moment, he hesitates on what he wants to say in return. of course he loves him back, but he's so overwhelmed by everything in this moment-- the sensitivity awarded by the waters, the gentle request fjord has made. the confession of love. that gods-be-damned beautiful yellow gaze that makes vax feel beautiful.

vax surges forward, unable to decide on words, and he kisses fjord. it's hard at first, passionate and deep, but he softens it as it continues. forceful presses of his tongue against tusks becomes more gentle, until he's brushing his tongue along fjord's lower lip, ghosting it against the other's tongue. when he finally parts, he's breathless, and not just because of the kiss.

"i love you, fjord. let me take you to bed."
